Build Your Own Hunt

Build Your Own

Our named packages are just the combinations people ask for most. Everything they are built from is available on its own, so if none of the three is quite your trip, we will assemble the one that is.

What you can add to any booking

  • Extra hunting sessions — stretch a half day into a full one, or a two-day trip into three
  • Pheasants — added to a quail hunt, or as their own thing. Pheasant and chukar are legal in Kentucky year round, so they also open up the summer months
  • Lodge nights — the Farm House Lodge sleeps four, and can be added whether or not you hunt two days
  • Meals — the steak dinner, a country breakfast, or an extra lodge lunch
  • Bourbon and cigar pairing by the fire, after the guns are away
  • A fifth or sixth gun — $500 per half-day session
  • Non-hunting guests — charged only for lodging and food. There is no separate day fee for someone who comes along to watch the dogs work

On the food, since people ask

We charge close to what our meals cost us. We would rather you eat well than feel taxed on it — so add the dinner if you want the dinner.

Groups, events and odd requests

Eight guns wanting to hunt the same day, a company entertaining clients, a father-and-son trip with two generations of shooting ability in the party, someone who wants to bring three dogs of their own — all normal here. Tell us what you are trying to do. Corporate and group hunts covers the bigger ones.
