The Farm House Lodge
Tucked deep in the heart of the preserve, our Farm House Lodge offers an authentic Kentucky retreat for hunters and guests alike. Designed for comfort and connection, it sits quietly among the rolling hills and bird fields, just steps from where the day’s stories begin.
The lodge sleeps four across two bedrooms — two beds in each room, with one bath shared between them. It’s the kind of place that gives you the “kick up your feet and stay a while” feeling.
Step out onto the big front porch and listen to the quail whistle through the pines as the sun sets over the fields. After the hunt, gather around the fire pit with a good bourbon in hand and swap stories under a sky full of stars. Inside, the lodge blends rustic charm with modern comfort — warm wood finishes, soft linens, and a touch of Southern hospitality in every detail.
A culinary experience rooted in the land
Our on-site chef crafts a custom-designed menu for each guest, showcasing the best of Kentucky’s local ingredients. From dry-aged prime beef sourced through our friends at Rian’s Fatted Calf to seasonal vegetables from nearby farms, every meal is a celebration of the region’s bounty.
Whether it’s a fireside breakfast before the morning hunt or a multi-course dinner after a day in the field, every dish is prepared with care, creativity, and a true respect for the land.
Guns put away, fire lit, and dinner in no particular hurry. Chef-crafted meals, a warm fire, and true Southern hospitality.
Where tradition meets comfort
The Farm House Lodge isn’t just a place to stay — it’s part of the experience. Here, time slows down, conversation flows easy, and the sounds of the countryside remind you why you came. Come unwind, reconnect, and make yourself at home in the heart of Backcountry.
A night at the lodge is included in The Champions Hunt, and can be added to any booking at $150 per hunter.
